Every MoonShine piece is made by hand, one at a time, with the intention of being used, not babied. These are things meant to go places, do things, and collect a few stories along the way.

Because they're handmade from natural materials, no two pieces will ever be exactly alike. Leather may have variations in grain, color, texture, scars, markings, or other natural characteristics. Hardware and other components may also vary depending on availability and the design of the piece. Those differences aren't defects or mistakes. They're part of the story. They’re what keep a handmade piece from looking like it came off an assembly line.

Whatever you're buying, the goal is the same: make something worth owning, worth using, and worth keeping around.

Physical orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise arranged. Tracking information will be provided once your order ships.

For orders over $500, I’ll add additional insurance and signature confirmation to help protect your purchase while it makes its way to you.

For orders under $500, insurance and signature confirmation are available at your request or at my discretion. If you’d like either added to your order, let me know before it ships. Additional shipping costs may apply.

Prefer another carrier? No problem. UPS, FedEx, or another carrier can be arranged by request. Additional shipping costs may apply.

Once your package is handed over to the carrier, it’s officially out of my hands and in theirs. I’ll provide tracking and do what I can to help if something goes sideways, but I can't control the carrier, weather, or the mysterious void where packages occasionally disappear.

If your package arrives damaged, take photos before opening or discarding the packaging and contact me as soon as possible. This helps with any insurance claim and gives me a fighting chance of getting things sorted out.

MoonShine Bespoke Works products are warrantied against defects in materials and workmanship. If something goes wrong because I screwed up the construction or a material fails prematurely due to a defect, let me know. I’ll work with you to make it right.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, alterations, improper care, or general abuse. In other words, leather develops character; it doesn't come with a force field. So scratches, patina, and signs that you actually used your stuff? That's the story coming out. Running it over with your truck, feeding it to the dog, or otherwise putting it through a level of abuse no reasonable leather good was designed to survive? That's probably not a warranty claim.

That said, if there's something that happens along the way that you'd like repaired, let me know. Because many MoonShine pieces are made with distinctive, limited, or one-of-a-kind materials, an exact replacement may not always be available. If replacement material is needed, I’ll work with you to find a mutually acceptable alternative before proceeding. Repair costs may include the cost of replacement materials, and you'll be responsible for shipping both ways.

If you believe your item has a defect covered by the warranty, contact me before attempting repairs or modifications. I'll take a look and figure out the best way to make it right.

Physical products may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is in its original, unused condition.

To initiate a return, use the Contact form and let me know what's up. I'll provide the return instructions from there.

Once the item is received, it will be inspected to make sure it is in its original condition. Your refund will be issued after the return has been received and satisfactorily inspected, using the original method of payment. Original shipping costs will not be refunded. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. If an item arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, contact me before sending anything back so we can figure it out. That's what shipping insurance is for.

Custom orders are made specifically for you and are generally not eligible for return. However, in certain circumstances, I may agree to accept a return at my discretion if the piece can reasonably be offered for sale as a ready-made item. If a custom return is approved, a 20% rehoming fee will be deducted from the refund. The item must be returned in its original, unused condition and will be inspected upon receipt before the refund is issued. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Bottom line: If you bought it, decided it wasn't for you, and it's still in the same condition it left here, we'll figure it out. No drama.
